You asked, we delivered. PLO has been added with full support — AI assistance, HUDs & stat tracking, live equity calculations, it's all there. As always, NLHE is included.

Server-side (now)

PLO equity calculations are brutally expensive. With even 5 opponents, browser-side PLO sims were averaging nearly 14 seconds. By offloading to server-side computation, all you wait for is round-trip network latency plus a few ms of compute — a 90-130x improvement. NLHE sims stay browser-side and are now 22x faster than before.

Why PLO equity is so expensive

It starts with hand evaluation. In NLHE, you pick the best 5 from 7 cards (2 hole + 5 board) — that's roughly 21 combos to evaluate per player per simulation. In PLO, you must use exactly 2 of your 4 hole cards and exactly 3 board cards: C(4,2) × C(5,3) = 6 × 10 = 60 combos per player per board. PLO-5 is even worse: C(5,2) × C(5,3) = 10 × 10 = 100 combos. That alone makes each iteration ~3x slower for PLO and ~5x slower for PLO-5.

But the real bottleneck isn't your hand — it's opponent ranges. NLHE has 1,326 unique starting hands. PLO has 270,725 unique 4-card combos — over 200x more. You can't define tight and loose ranges the same way, and you certainly can't enumerate them in real-time on a browser. That's why we moved PLO equity to the server.
