How HUDs Work in Equibrah
Equibrah tracks 12 stats per player across 6 separate stat pools — automatically switching between them based on your game type and table size. Here's how it all fits together.
Two primary HUD groups
NLHE
No Limit Hold'em
PLO
All 4 PLO variants
Your NLHE and PLO stats are completely separate. PLO encompasses all four variants offered by PokerNow — PLO, PLO Hi/Lo, PLO5, and PLO5 Hi/Lo — grouped together because the fundamentals of 4-card poker carry across all of them.
Three table-size groupings within each
Heads Up
2 players
Short Handed
3–6 players
Full Ring
7–10 players
Players are expected to behave very differently depending on table size. In heads up, a VPIP of 70%+ is completely normal — at a full ring table that same number would be wildly loose. Mixing these together would produce meaningless stats, so we don't.
That's 6 independent stat pools

Equibrah switches between these automatically. When a 3rd player sits down at your heads-up table, you'll notice the HUD stats change — they might look like they "reset." They didn't. Equibrah just loaded your short-handed stats for that player, because that's the context that's actually relevant now. If that player leaves and you're back to heads up, it switches right back.
Why this matters
Heads Up (2 players)
Expect high VPIP and PFR. With only one opponent, playing tight is a losing strategy — you'll be folding away your blinds.
Short Handed (3–6 players)
The middle ground. Ranges open up compared to full ring, but you're still picking your spots. A healthy VPIP here is roughly 25–35%.
Full Ring (7–10 players)
Classic full table poker. Tighter is correct — strong starting hands are rewarded and the blinds come around less often.
Lumping all table sizes into one stat pool would tell you that a player is "loose" when in reality they were just playing correctly for heads up. By separating them, every number on your HUD is contextually accurate.
